| WHEREAS, Family and friends were deeply saddened by the | ||
| passing of Kyle Richard Bough of Kilgore on June 14, 2025, at the | ||
| age of 90; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The son of Clyde Earl Bough and Mabel Bough, Kyle | ||
| Bough was born on January 2, 1935, in Stockton, Missouri, where | ||
| he grew up with the companionship of three siblings, Lyle, | ||
| Donald, and Jean Carol; answering his nation's call to duty, he | ||
| served with the U.S. Army for two years; and | ||
| WHEREAS, In 1961, Mr. Bough exchanged vows with his wife, | ||
| Elaine, and the couple shared a rewarding marriage that spanned | ||
| nearly six and a half decades; they were blessed with five | ||
| children, Sheila, Richard, Carol, Michelle, and Scott, and | ||
| through the years, their cherished family grew to include 15 | ||
| grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and a | ||
| great-great-grandchild; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Over the course of his career, Mr. Bough worked as | ||
| a charter bus driver and in the trucking industry before joining | ||
| the Western Company of North America; in 1978, he and his family | ||
| settled in Kilgore; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Although Kyle Bough is greatly missed, he has left | ||
| his loved ones with a wealth of memories that they will forever | ||
| treasure; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th | ||
| Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life | ||
| of Kyle Richard Bough and extend sincere condolences to the | ||
| members of his family: to his wife, Elaine Bough; to his | ||
| children, Sheila Smithwick and her husband, Carl, Richard Bough, | ||
| Carol Loizeaux and her husband, Tim, Michelle Renaud and her | ||
| husband, Joe, and Scott Bough and his wife, Tosha; to his | ||
| grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild; | ||
| and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be | ||
| prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns | ||
| this day, it do so in memory of Kyle Bough. | ||
