Blake Sbrocco

Blake serves as an elected member of the Bee Cave City Council. He was appointed by the President of the Texas Municipal League to represent Region 10, the Highland Lakes and Austin area, spanning sixteen Central Texas counties, on TML’s Small Cities Advisory Council.

His municipal service includes work as a Planning & Zoning Commissioner, a member of the Zoning Board of Adjustments, and a member of the City of Bee Cave Charter Review Committee. Together those roles gave him firsthand experience across the full framework of local governance: land use, development review, and institutional planning in a rapidly growing Texas community.

Through public service, Blake has developed a practical understanding of what local governments weigh: infrastructure planning, economic development, budgeting, responsible growth, community engagement, and effective governance.

Blake brings local government experience to the firm’s clients: he sustains the client relationships, identifies opportunities, coordinates engagement, and helps clients approach challenges with preparation and credibility. Before joining JD Key Consulting, Blake built his career across public service, state government, federal operations, and regulated industries.

At the Texas General Land Office, Blake served in the Community Development & Revitalization Division, which administers federally funded disaster recovery and mitigation programs for the State of Texas. His work supported housing recovery, infrastructure development, economic revitalization, and planning initiatives designed to help Texas communities recover and strengthen long-term resiliency after natural disasters.

That combination of government operations, public policy, regulated industry experience, and private-sector execution gives him practical insight into how organizations work through complex environments while balancing strategic goals and community needs.
