Facility Use Agreements: If you lease space to the County for elections, amend your agreement for the November 2025 cycle.
- Boundary Definition: Explicitly define the "room" in the lease. Ensure this definition excludes hallways, lobbies, or adjacent business areas to prevent the wireless ban from disrupting your normal operations.
- Enforcement Liability: Insert a clause stating the Presiding Election Judge is solely responsible for enforcing Section 61.014(a) and for posting the required signage.
Hiring/Training
HR Policy Updates: Update "Time Off to Vote" guidance.

Documentation: No new statutory filings are required.
- Best Practice: On Election Day, facility managers should photograph the placement of the wireless prohibition signage to prove it was posted by election officials and to document the boundaries of the enforcement zone.
